Opus Education are currently looking to add Supply Teachers to our bank to assist our schools in the Plymouth and the surrounding areas. 

Due to our continous growth we are looking to add qualified secondary teachers to assist our schools with day to day supply and also long term bookings. 

About the role/person:

Have lots of patience, be proactive and resilient! - this role can be challenging, but it is very rewarding!

Have a QTS 

We have roles covering mainstream and SEN sectors 

Ideally you will have experience working within an SEND/SEMH school 

Have a strong ability to develop relationships and rapport with both pupils and parents

Previous Mainstream schooling experience

Experience working with learners at a PMLD/SLD level and having a good understanding of sensory needs. 

Be able to communicate effectively with students/staff and parents, where required

Has a passion for teaching and making a difference in a young persons life

The pay for these roles begin at £125 per day and range to paid to scale, depending on the requirements of the school and duration of the placement.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role as well as the Right to Work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a fixed term position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
