Speech and Language Therapist
Location: Saltash
Salary: £33k - £39k pro rata (0.5 timetable)
Contract: Permanent
Start Date: ASAP

The Role:
Your role will be to guide children aged between 5 – 16 in an SEN school located in the Saltash area to help develop their skills in speech, language and communication.
This is a great opportunity to work within a rewarding educational setting, teaching and supporting pupils.
As you will be working with children who have special educational needs you need to be approachable and be able to emotionally respond and adapt to the setting that you are in. These children will have a range of communication needs.
You should be able to offer strategies and give your advice to school staff and parents, to ensure that each individual child makes progress. 

The ideal candidate will:
Be confident working with pupils who have learning disabilities and other complex needs.
Hold a professional Speech and Language Therapy degree or equivalent 
Have an interest in education and be passionate about making a positive impact on the students' lives.
