Opus Education are currently working with a MAT as their exclusive recruitment partner, we are looking for a Senior Administrator for work in the Camborne / Redruth area. 

We are looking to appoint an outstanding Senior Administrator who embodies our Trust values; someone who has diverse experience, as well as a passion for working with young people with additional needs.

The pupils are enrolled at various points throughout their schooling, usually as a result of their school placement having broken down. Our purpose is to support pupils to create an environment where everyone can grow and develop, as they become responsible citizens and lifelong learners. Our role is to help pupils get back on track, either through a return to regular schooling or by completing Year 11.

The Academy work closely with a diverse range of outside agencies both statutory and voluntary so that our pupils can access the support and guidance they need. We are committed to tailoring our curriculum to meet the needs of our pupils, developing a range of skills knowledge, attitudes and understanding so all our pupils can aspire to their full potential.

Main purpose of Job

• To provide administrative, secretarial, data and financial support to the Principal, staff and pupils of the Academy.

• To liaise and collaborate with external agencies, contractors as well as parents, carers and schools.

• To help ensure that staff follow our policies and procedures

• To help ensure that the Trust’s Child Protection & Safeguarding Policy is complied with

• To actively support the Trust’s Positive Behaviour Policy and systems in order to assist the delivery of outstanding education to our pupils.

• Display robust self management skills with regard to problem solving;

• Willingness to complete de-escalation training and to actively support the principals of this training whilst undertaking duties associated with the role.

All members of staff must have a DBS on the update service or be willing to have a new DBS processed. 

Salary between £10-£12 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am till 2:30pm
