SEN Teaching Assistants Required

Specialist provisions in Saltash are looking to recruit full-time behaviour and mental health focused Teaching Assistants. You will be working 1:1 or in small groups with young people with social emotional mental health and special educational needs. You may be required to deliver some of the lessons to the student on a 1:1 basis as well as accompany outings for functional skills/social skills.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
Experience working in an SEMH provision, school or have a background in mental health, youth work or support work
A good knowledge, understanding and background of working with young adolescents with SEMH needs - psychology, child development and criminology degrees desirable
TA qualification desirable
Team Teach and Thrive Practitioner qualifications desirable
