Pay Rate: £110 – £140 per day

Start Date: ASAP

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced SEN Teacher to join a special educational needs school just outside of the St Austell area to be responsible for the planning, organisation and delivery across KS4 at Early Years level.

This position is on-going starting in September and will be full time Monday to Friday.

All learners at the school will have an education, health and care plan (EHCP) as they have complex learning disabilities and significant needs.

This is a great opportunity to work within a rewarding educational setting, teaching and supporting pupils

To assist with the development and implementation of education or behaviour plans, according to their educational needs

 

In addition to a learning need, learners may also have other associated needs in:

• sensory or medical needs, (visual, hearing impairment, epilepsy, life limiting conditions etc.)

• emotional/social needs (including mental health needs)

• communication and interaction difficulties, (autistic spectrum conditions, speech and language difficulties)

• physical needs (e.g. mobility needs, physical disabilities, wheelchair users).



The ideal candidate will:

Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work co-operatively and collaboratively with a range of staff.

Have lots of patience, to be proactive and resilient.

 

The successful applicant must hold:

Full enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to complete one

References

Experience - ideally has taught children with special educational needs or have the passion to teach in a SEN school
